can’t be
obtained with
conventional
machines.
Several
examples of applications in
powder
metallurgy:
Ultra-fine
Tungsten Carbide
powder (grade
0), having
average particle
size FSSS=0.8µ,
can not be
screened by
existing
separators even
at 300µ sieves
because of
formation of
heavy
agglomerates. By
using our
multifrequency
screens we
succeeded to
provide control
screening of
this powder
starting from
45µ with
uninterrupted
self-cleaning
and
de-agglomeration
of powder.
Capacity of 160
KG/HR per square
meter of screen
area is reached
for 75µ mesh.
For powder with
FSSS=2.3µ,
capacity 400
KG/HR per sq. m
is reached. The
fine mesh in our
separator is not
stretched at
all, resulted in
increasing of
mesh lifetime in
comparison to
conventional
screening.
Automatic
self-cleaning of
sieve prevents
necessity to
brush meshes
manually.
